Unsure if it's just me or if others are feeling this way, but lately, I've been getting a strange sense of being under a microscope at work. Performance reviews seem more critical than usual, and there's a lot of emphasis on individual metrics. It feels like they're building a case for something. I know there haven't been any official announcements, but the atmosphere has definitely shifted. A few people in my department have been 'encouraged' to explore other opportunities, which is a polite way of saying it, I guess. Just wondering if this is a widespread feeling or if I'm overthinking it. Anyone else in a similar boat and noticing these subtle signs?
