Feeling the pinch at Equinix - budget cuts or something else?

Just wanted to vent a little and see if others are experiencing this. My team's budget for the next quarter has been slashed significantly. We're talking about scaling back on planned projects and even questioning essential software renewals. It's not just my team; I've heard similar stories from colleagues in different divisions. No one's talking about layoffs directly, but the financial belt-tightening is definitely palpable. Is this just the general economic climate catching up, or is there something more specific happening internally at Equinix that management isn't sharing? It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like resources are being pulled out from under you. Anyone else in a similar boat and have any theories?
