Morale seems low in Real Estate team - what's going on?

Hey all, been at Equinix in the Real Estate division for a while now. Lately, the vibe has just been...off. People seem more stressed, quiet, and there's a general sense of uncertainty. I haven't heard any official news about layoffs, but the whispers are getting louder. Are others in RE feeling this? Are projects being re-prioritized or scaled back in ways that feel unusual? I'm wondering if there's a broader strategy shift happening that we're not being privy to, or if it's just a cyclical thing. Feels like a lot of us are holding our breath. I've noticed a similar sentiment in my department within Real Estate. There's definitely a palpable shift in the atmosphere, and it's not just isolated incidents. Conversations tend to be more guarded, and the usual team energy feels significantly dampened. It's concerning because the company has always prided itself on its strong culture, so this dip is hard to ignore. I'm also hoping for some clarity soon, as the speculation can be more draining than actual news.

It's good to see this post. I've been feeling it too, and it's reassuring to know I'm not alone. The uncertainty is the worst part – not knowing what's coming makes it hard to focus on the work.
