Slowdown in hiring, anyone else notice?

Been with Equinix for a few years now, and I've definitely noticed a shift in the hiring pace. Used to be, roles were posted and filled relatively quickly. Now, it seems like requisitions are sitting open for a long time, and I'm hearing crickets from recruiters about roles I thought were a sure thing. Internal movement also feels a bit stalled. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's specific to certain departments. Is anyone else in a similar boat or heard any whispers about hiring freezes or slowdowns? Curious to hear what others are seeing on the ground, especially in different divisions.

Yeah, I've been seeing the same thing. It feels like there's a general tightening across the board, not just in hiring. Projects seem to be scrutinized more, and approvals are taking longer. It makes sense in the current economic climate, but it does create a bit of uncertainty for those hoping for new opportunities or faster career progression. I'm hoping things pick back up soon, but it's definitely a noticeable change from even a year or two ago.
