It’s finally starting to show up on the public filings. Just saw the WARN notice for 87 roles in California effective Dec 6th. For those of us still sweating it out, it feels like the trickle is turning into a steady stream. Management keeps talking about 'real estate portfolio optimization' and 'operational efficiency' in these town halls, but we all know that’s just corporate-speak for headcount reduction. I’m hearing rumblings that this isn’t the end of it—there are supposedly more cuts being planned for Q1 across different regions, not just the West Coast. Does anyone have visibility on whether this is strictly real estate operations or if they’re cutting into the broader data center management teams as well? The vibe in the office is abysmal. Everyone is too afraid to ask direct questions during the Q&As because we’ve seen how 'transparent' leadership is lately. If you’re on the chopping block, I hope your severance package is at least decent. Stay safe out there.

The mood around the office has been abysmal lately. Every time leadership mentions 'operational efficiency,' we all look at our calendars and start checking our LinkedIn profiles. It’s draining to hear the constant corporate buzzwords while watching colleagues get pushed out. Honestly, if this is just the beginning of a larger wave of reductions, I think I’d rather rip the band-aid off now than live in this state of anxiety for another six months. The uncertainty is worse than the actual layoff itself.

It is brutal watching the WARN notices go public like this. I’ve been with the team for a few years, but the transparency from the top is nonexistent. They keep selling the 'portfolio optimization' narrative, but it’s hard to swallow when you see talented people losing their jobs right before the holidays. If anyone has intel on what departments are next in the crosshairs, please share. I’m tired of guessing if my seat is next on the chopping block.
