Anyone else at Estee Lauder seeing a hiring freeze and increased workload?

Yo, Is it just me or has the hiring freeze at EL become way more obvious lately? I've heard from multiple teams that they're not backfilling positions, even critical ones. Meanwhile, the workload for those of us still here seems to be piling up. It feels like they're expecting us to do more with less, which is never a sustainable model long-term. I'm not trying to stir up panic, but this feels like a pattern I've seen before at other companies before things got really bad. Anyone else in a similar boat? Are your managers saying anything different? Or are we all just supposed to pretend everything is fine while we're drowning in work and seeing headcount shrink? Curious to hear what others are experiencing.

Definitely feeling this on my end too. It's getting harder and harder to keep up with all the new responsibilities being shifted our way. The lack of new hires is really starting to impact project timelines and the quality of our output. Hoping leadership has a plan for this, because right now, it feels like we're stretched way too thin.

Yeah, it's pretty noticeable. My team has been trying to get approvals for new headcount for months with no luck. We're constantly having to prioritize what can actually get done, and a lot of important initiatives are getting pushed back. It's a tough environment when you feel like you're constantly playing catch-up and can't get the support you need.
