EL - Hearing whispers about restructuring. Anyone have concrete info?

Hey everyone, Been with EL for a few years now and things feel… weird. Lots of internal comms about 'strategic realignment' and 'driving efficiency,' which is corporate speak for something, right? My department's been told to hold off on most new hires, and some project budgets have been slashed pretty hard. It's making people nervous. I haven't seen any official announcements about layoffs, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Just wondering if anyone else is hearing similar things or has any inside scoop on what's really going on. Are teams being consolidated? Are certain brands being de-prioritized? Any intel would be appreciated. Trying to stay calm but it's hard when you see the writing on the wall. Thanks.

Interesting. I've heard rumblings too, mostly through LinkedIn connections who used to work there. The 'strategic realignment' phrase sounds familiar. It often precedes some significant changes, unfortunately. Keep your ears open, and good luck navigating the uncertainty.

That 'driving efficiency' talk is definitely a red flag. My cousin works in a related industry and they went through something similar last year, which did end up involving some downsizing. Hope it doesn't come to that for you all, but it's wise to be prepared.
