Curious if others at Estee Lauder are seeing a significant tightening of budgets across the board? Lately, it feels like getting approval for even small expenditures is becoming a Herculean task. Team offsites are being scaled back or outright cancelled, travel requests are getting more scrutiny than ever, and even basic supplies seem to be rationed. It's impacting our ability to execute projects smoothly. On top of the other general anxieties floating around, this feels like another tangible sign that things might be shifting. Is this happening in your areas too? Trying to figure out if it's a company-wide initiative or if certain divisions are feeling it more than others. Any intel would be appreciated.

Absolutely, I've noticed it too. It feels like every single expense, no matter how small, is under a microscope now. We had to fight tooth and nail just for some new equipment that's essential for our team's productivity, and even then, it was a watered-down version of what we actually needed. The cancelled team events are a real bummer too – it's hard to stay motivated and connected when you feel like the company is pulling back on everything that makes the workplace feel human. It's definitely adding to the general sense of unease. Hope things improve soon.
