Estee Lauder - Anyone else noticing a shift in project priorities or strategy?

Lately, it feels like the ground is shifting under our feet at EL. Projects that were greenlit and seemed like a big focus are suddenly being deprioritized or even shelved altogether. Then, out of nowhere, a new 'strategic imperative' pops up that requires a complete pivot. It's creating a lot of confusion and churn within the teams, and honestly, it's making it hard to feel like we're making consistent progress on anything. The messaging from leadership feels a bit fragmented too, like they're still figuring out the new direction themselves. Is this just the usual ebb and flow of a large company, or does anyone else feel like there's a more significant strategic reassessment happening behind the scenes? Curious if anyone has a clearer read on what's driving these shifts and if it points to any underlying challenges.

Absolutely. I've noticed the same thing. It feels like a constant game of whack-a-mole with priorities. One minute we're all hands on deck for initiative X, the next it's crickets and we're scrambling to understand the new mandate. This lack of clear, sustained direction makes it tough to get into a productive rhythm and frankly, it's starting to wear people down. Yep, the whiplash is real. It seems like every quarter brings a fresh set of 'top priorities' that quickly become yesterday's news. There's a definite disconnect between the stated strategic vision and the day-to-day execution. It's frustrating for those of us trying to deliver results, as our efforts feel constantly redirected without a clear overarching plan. Hoping for more stability soon.
