Eversource - Anyone Else Feeling the Pressure? Overtime & Understaffing

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if I'm alone here. Lately, it feels like the workload at Eversource has been piling up significantly. I've been seeing a lot more mandatory overtime across different departments, and it's starting to take a toll. My team is stretched thin, and it feels like we're constantly playing catch-up. New projects keep getting added, but it doesn't seem like the headcount is really keeping pace. I'm starting to wonder if this is a company-wide trend or if it's just specific to certain areas. Anyone else in a similar boat? How are you guys managing the increased pressure? Is anyone else concerned about potential burnout or if this level of demand is sustainable long-term? Trying to stay positive but it's getting tough.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. The mandatory overtime has become the norm rather than the exception in my department. It's hard to maintain a good work-life balance when you're constantly being asked to stay late. It seems like there's more work than people to do it, and it's definitely causing some burnout. Hopefully, management addresses the staffing issues soon before more people get completely overwhelmed.

I can relate. The pressure has been intense lately. It feels like every week there's a new initiative or project that requires more resources, but the staffing just isn't there to support it. I've noticed the same trend with mandatory overtime, and it's definitely affecting morale. It would be good to hear if there are any plans to increase headcount or re-evaluate the current workload distribution.
