Eversource - Anyone seeing increased workload without additional staff?

Starting to feel seriously stretched thin at Eversource. Over the past six months, my team's responsibilities have expanded significantly, taking on projects that were previously handled elsewhere, and we've also lost a couple of key people who haven't been backfilled. The workload is becoming unmanageable, and it's impacting both the quality of our output and our work-life balance. Management keeps talking about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' but it feels more like they're just squeezing more out of the people who are left. Is this a company-wide trend, or is it specific to certain departments? I'm starting to wonder if this is a precursor to something, or if they're just genuinely understaffed and over-optimistic about what current teams can handle. It's getting to the point where burnout feels inevitable if things don't change soon. Curious to hear if others are in similar boats.
