Hey everyone, been with Eversource for a few years now in [department/general area]. Lately, the vibe feels a bit off. Lots of whispers, maybe just normal end-of-year jitters, but it seems more pronounced this time around. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and the feedback, while not outright negative, felt... guarded. Anyone else picking up on this? I'm wondering if there are any major strategic shifts on the horizon or if it's just the usual industry headwinds affecting us. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the uncertainty is definitely creating some anxiety. Any insights from folks in other departments or levels would be appreciated. Trying to gauge the overall health and direction of the company from a ground-level perspective. Is anyone seeing hiring freezes or project slowdowns that aren't being explicitly communicated?

I've been noticing similar things in my department. The feeling of uncertainty seems to be pretty widespread. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what's driving it, but the cautious language around future projects and even internal communications feels like a shift from what it used to be. I'm hoping it's just a temporary lull before some exciting new initiatives are announced, but it's definitely a topic of much discussion around the virtual water cooler.
