Just to put a number to the rumors circulating, I can confirm the WARN notice for 58 employees in Seattle is official. My team had a few people tapped out this morning. It’s the same quiet, cold process as before—system access revoked, calendar wiped, and a generic meeting invite. If you haven't heard from your manager yet, you’re likely safe for today, but honestly, who knows what the cadence is going to be for the rest of Q4. I’m honestly just angry at how this is being handled. People who have been here for years are being treated like line items on a balance sheet. Please reach out to your colleagues if you can; it’s going to be a miserable week.

I am so sorry you have to go through this. It is absolutely dehumanizing to have your access cut like that without even a chance to say goodbye to your peers. The corporate silence following these cuts makes the whole environment feel toxic and unpredictable. Please take some time to breathe and focus on yourself rather than worrying about the future of the office right now. You deserve so much better than being treated as just a number on a spreadsheet.

Honestly, the lack of transparency is the real killer here. We all know the company is prioritizing the bottom line over the people who built these products, but the cold, robotic execution is just insulting. Whether or not you were impacted, the culture is clearly spiraling. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if you’re next on the list. I suggest start updating your resume quietly because this place isn't going to get any better anytime soon.
