ExxonMobil - Anyone else feeling the unease?

Hey everyone, been with ExxonMobil for a few years now in an engineering role. Lately, there's been a lot of chatter, not about official layoffs, but just this general... unease. Projects are getting stretched, hiring freezes seem to be in effect in some departments, and there's a palpable sense of 'wait and see' hanging in the air. Management is tight-lipped as usual, which, frankly, just fuels the speculation. Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my group, or is there a broader sentiment out there? Seeing a lot of the majors making cuts, and while we haven't seen anything concrete here, the economic winds feel pretty strong right now. Curious to hear if others are feeling similar jitters or if I'm just overthinking it. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's hard when you see how things are playing out elsewhere in the industry.
