Performance review anxiety is real this year

Okay, so Q3 reviews are looming and I'm already stressed. The usual pressure is there, but this year it feels amplified. There's been a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' in internal comms, which never bodes well. I'm putting in the hours and hitting my targets, but with the general market jitters, I can't shake the feeling that 'meeting expectations' might not be enough. Anyone else feeling this extra layer of pressure? Feels like we're all on eggshells, trying to prove our worth even more than usual. Trying to focus on my own contributions, but the background noise is hard to ignore. Just want to get through this review cycle without any surprises, but it's tough when you don't know what the 'bar' is set at anymore.
