I'm in a similar boat. Started noticing the budget squeezes about six months ago, and it's definitely ramped up. Heard whispers about reorganizations in a couple of departments, though nothing directly impacting my team yet. It’s the subtle changes – hiring freezes on non-critical roles, increased approval layers for expenses – that make you wonder. Better safe than sorry, right? Keeping my eyes and ears open and making sure my network is active doesn't hurt. Just hoping it's a typical cycle and not something more serious.
