What's the deal with resources at FE right now? Feels like every department is stretched thinner than usual. We've got critical projects getting pushed back because teams are already overloaded, and hiring seems to have slowed to a crawl. It's not just one or two teams; it's a pervasive feeling across the board. I've seen budget reviews get a lot tougher, and approvals for new initiatives are taking ages. Is this a sign of cost-cutting measures, or are we just understaffed for the current workload? Feels like we're setting ourselves up for failure if we can't get the manpower to execute. Anyone else dealing with this and have any theories on why it's happening?

I've been noticing the same thing. It definitely feels like there's a hiring freeze or at least a significant slowdown, and the existing teams are really feeling the pressure. Project timelines are becoming unrealistic, and it's impacting morale. It's frustrating to see potential progress stalled because of what seems like a lack of manpower. Hopefully, management addresses this resource allocation soon, because the current situation isn't sustainable for delivering on our goals effectively. The increased budget scrutiny doesn't help either when we're already stretched thin.
