Yeah, I've definitely felt a change too. My review was also heavy on the 'impact' and 'efficiency' metrics. It felt less like a collaborative conversation about my contributions and more like a justification for whatever decision they've already made. The lack of discussion around future development or training opportunities was a big red flag for me. Combined with the general feeling of uncertainty around here lately, it's making me question my future with the company.
Interesting to hear you say that. My experience was similar – the focus definitely shifted from growth to a more stark evaluation of current output. While I understand the need for accountability and driving results, the abrupt change in tone and the emphasis on justification felt unsettling. It’s a bit of a departure from the usual process, and frankly, it’s hard not to speculate about the underlying reasons given the other whispers around the office.
