Fiserv - RTO enforcement vs. layoff anxiety

It’s honestly laughable how they’re pushing the RTO mandates even harder right now. We’re being told we need to be in the office for 'collaboration' while they’re simultaneously cutting staff and making everyone's job twice as hard. It’s hard to stay motivated when you see your colleagues getting their access cut off after years of service. Is anyone actually feeling secure here? The atmosphere in the office is incredibly toxic; nobody is collaborating, everyone is just staring at their monitors trying to look busy so they don't get put on a list. If this is how they treat people after a few bad quarters, I don't know why anyone would consider this a long-term play. Just counting the days until I find something else.
