Feeling the pressure - anyone else on the security operations side getting pulled in new directions?

Been in SecOps here for about 3 years now, and lately it feels like the ground is shifting. We're used to reactive work, but it seems like there's a big push towards some new proactive initiatives that are really stretching our team thin. Management keeps talking about 'optimization' and 'efficiency gains,' but honestly, it feels like we're being set up to fail with the resources we have. My direct manager is doing their best, but even they seem stressed about the bandwidth. Anyone else in similar roles seeing these kinds of priority shifts? Is this a company-wide thing or just our corner of Fortinet?
