I've noticed it too. It feels like the messaging is becoming more generalized, focusing on broad strategic goals without really connecting them to our day-to-day realities or how they directly impact our teams. There's a definite sense that the transparency we once had is waning, and it's leading to more questions than answers. Hopefully, this is just a temporary phase and they'll re-emphasize direct, impactful communication soon.
Honestly, I'm with you. The language seems to be shifting towards buzzwords and less towards actionable insights. It's making it harder to feel truly aligned with the company's direction. When the 'why' gets lost, it's easy for morale to dip and for people to start questioning the decisions being made, even if they're sound. A bit more clarity on the rationale would be incredibly beneficial right now.
