Fortinet - Thoughts on the new travel policy?

Does the recent update to the travel and expense policy feel like a massive red flag to anyone else? We’ve always been pretty reasonable with travel, but suddenly everything requires double-approval from Finance, and they are pushing back on things that were standard practice for years. It feels like they are scraping for every cent they can save before the next fiscal announcement. It’s hard not to look at these 'belt-tightening' measures and not immediately jump to the conclusion that a layoff is brewing behind the scenes. If the balance sheet is as healthy as they claim in the earnings calls, why are they nickel-and-diming us on simple business travel and office supplies? I’m hearing rumblings that the sales teams are getting hit the hardest with quota adjustments, but I’m worried that engineering is next on the chopping block. If anyone has seen actual numbers or knows if this is just a temporary budget tightening, please share. The lack of transparency from the top is making the office environment incredibly toxic right now.
