Fortinet severance package - what to expect?

Okay, so let's just say the worst happens and layoffs do hit. Does anyone have insight into what Fortinet's severance package typically looks like? I'm trying to get a sense of what my financial runway would be if I were to be let go. I've heard rumors ranging from two weeks per year of service to something more generous. If you've been through a layoff at Fortinet before, or know someone who has, any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. Trying to be prepared, just in case.

I went through a layoff a few years back. Fortinet gave me two weeks' pay for every year I worked there, plus they covered my health insurance for a few months. They also paid out my accrued vacation time. It wasn't amazing, but it was better than nothing. Start updating your resume and LinkedIn now, just in case. Good luck!

Honestly, don't get your hopes up too high based on rumors. Severance packages can vary widely depending on your role, tenure, and the overall financial health of the company at the time of the layoff. It's wise to prepare, but focus on controlling what you can control. Networking now is a smart move, regardless.
