Rant: Overworked and Underappreciated - Is this the new normal?

I'm so burned out. The workload has been insane lately, and it feels like management just keeps piling more and more on. We're constantly told to do more with less, but there's a limit! I'm on the support team and we're stretched so thin. I'm putting in 60+ hour weeks and still feel like I'm drowning. And the worst part is, there's no recognition. Just constant pressure to perform. If the company is doing so well, why are we being squeezed so hard? Seriously considering looking for a new job, even without any layoffs. My mental health can't take this much longer.

I hear you loud and clear. It sounds like classic growth pains, but that doesn't make it any easier on you. My previous company was the same. Record profits, but staff stretched to breaking point. Start documenting everything - the extra hours, the tasks outside your job description, the lack of support. It'll help you decide if it's worth sticking around and will also be useful if you decide to negotiate a better package or look elsewhere. Good luck!

I get the burnout feeling, but is it *really* the company, or is it *you*? Have you optimized your workflow? Are you prioritizing effectively? Fortinet is a demanding environment, that's no secret. Maybe it's not a good fit. Not every job is going to be easy street. If you're constantly drowning maybe reassess your skills or time management before blaming everything on the workload.
