Fortive - Anyone else feeling the pressure/uncertainty?

Hey all, been with Fortive for a few years now and lately things feel… different. Not just the usual quarterly stress, but a deeper sense of unease. Heard some whispers about reorganizations and budget reviews, but nothing concrete. My team's workload has definitely picked up, and it feels like we're being asked to do more with less. Anyone else experiencing this? Are project scopes getting tighter, or is it just me? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or isolated to my division. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar trends or if there's any official communication I'm missing. It's tough to stay motivated when there's this underlying feeling of instability. Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too, and it's not just your team. The general atmosphere feels more cautious lately. Project timelines seem to be compressing, and there's a noticeable emphasis on efficiency, which can translate to more pressure. It's tough when you're trying to innovate and deliver quality under those kinds of constraints. I've also noticed a shift in some of the internal communications – more focus on fiscal discipline and strategic alignment. Hoping it's a temporary phase and things will stabilize soon.

I can relate to what you're saying. While my specific division hasn't announced major reorganizations, there's a palpable sense that budgets are under tighter scrutiny. We've had to be much more deliberate about resource allocation and justifying every expenditure. It does create a bit of an underlying hum of uncertainty when you're not entirely sure what the future holds for certain initiatives. Keep an eye on those internal announcements; sometimes information trickles out in subtle ways.
