Fortive: Anyone else notice the silence on open roles?

Been with Fortive for a few years now and lately things feel... weird. My team is absolutely swamped. We've had a couple of people leave in the last quarter and those roles are still sitting open. Management keeps saying they're 'evaluating the needs' but it's been months. Meanwhile, the workload just keeps piling up on the rest of us. On top of that, there's been zero mention of any hiring or filling these gaps. Usually, there's some movement, even if it's slow. This feels different. It's making it hard to plan and frankly, it's starting to stress people out. Anyone else in other departments seeing the same thing? Is this a company-wide thing or just my little corner of the universe?
