Fortive: Morale seems low, anyone else feel it?

Okay, this might sound like a rant, but I'm genuinely concerned about the morale across Fortive lately. We've had a few leadership changes at the OpCo level in my area, and the messaging has been all over the place. Feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, and the promised "synergies" from acquisitions are either not materializing or are coming at a significant cost to the employees. Performance targets seem to be getting tighter, and the pressure is palpable. I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, but the general atmosphere is one of uncertainty and a bit of burnout. People are definitely starting to polish their resumes, and the usual positive buzz seems to have faded. Is this just a reflection of the broader industrial sector, or is there something specific going on at Fortive that's contributing to this dip in morale? Anyone else feeling this way or seeing similar trends?

I can definitely echo some of your sentiments. While my experience might be slightly different depending on the operating company, there's a shared feeling of uncertainty that seems to be bubbling up. The constant stream of acquisitions and the integration efforts definitely create a lot of churn. It's tough to maintain focus and morale when the organizational landscape feels like it's always shifting. Hoping things stabilize soon.

I hear you. It feels like the focus is so heavily on driving metrics and integrating new businesses that the human element sometimes gets overlooked. It's easy to feel like just a number when things get intense, and that can really wear people down. Have you seen any initiatives that seem to be genuinely working to address these kinds of concerns, or is it more of the same?
