Just finished my annual review at Fortive and it was... intense. Lots of focus on 'efficiency' and 'optimizing resources.' My manager kept bringing up 'right-sizing' the team to match current business needs. No outright threats of layoffs, but the implication was pretty clear. Combined with the whispers about restructuring in some of the older business units, it's got me feeling uneasy. The overall market is tough, sure, but Fortive has always felt pretty stable. Now it feels like they're really tightening the belt. Anyone else getting this vibe from their reviews or team meetings? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just my specific area.
