Fortive: Vague guidance and team reorganizations

Has anyone else noticed the kind of vague guidance coming down lately? It feels like there's a lot of shuffling happening across teams, especially in the industrial tech segments. Leadership keeps talking about 'synergies' and 'streamlining operations', which usually translates to headcount reduction in my experience. We've had a few 'reorganizations' announced, but no one's really sure what it means for our specific roles long-term. Just looking for some similar experiences or insights. Feeling a bit uneasy with the lack of clear communication on the financials and future direction. Anyone hearing anything concrete or just the same corporate speak?

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. The 'synergies' talk is really starting to wear thin. It seems like every few months there's a new restructuring announced, and the official communication is always so high-level it's impossible to grasp the actual impact on day-to-day work. It creates a lot of uncertainty and makes it hard to plan or feel secure in your position. I've definitely seen more internal movement and 'task force' assignments that feel like precursors to bigger changes. Hopefully, someone has a clearer picture of what's actually going on.
