Yeah, I'm seeing something similar. It's definitely a noticeable shift. My department had a few initiatives that were greenlit pretty quickly, but now they're being held up for further review, and the justification needed is significantly higher than it was even last quarter. Feels like the 'nice-to-have' projects are the first to go, and even the 'must-haves' are getting a microscope put on them. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's a bit unsettling.
I haven't experienced direct project freezes, but the budget scrutiny is definitely real. We're getting asked to provide more detailed ROI analyses for even minor expenditures, and there's a clear emphasis on cutting costs wherever possible. It feels like the company is getting more conservative with its cash, which makes sense given the economic climate, but it does put a strain on day-to-day operations and forward planning. Hopefully, it's a temporary phase.
