FCX - Anyone Else Feeling the Shift in Operations?

Hey everyone, been with FCX for a while now, and I'm getting a strange vibe lately. Not hearing anything concrete, but there's a definite shift in how things are being communicated, or rather, *not* communicated. Management seems unusually tight-lipped, even for FCX. Project timelines are getting vague, and there's a noticeable increase in 'streamlining' discussions. Has anyone else picked up on this? Feeling a bit uneasy about where things are headed, especially with the commodity markets being so volatile. Just trying to get a sense if it's just me or if there's a broader trend we should be aware of. Any insights from different sites or departments would be appreciated.

I've noticed the same quietness. It's definitely a departure from the usual flow of information, even accounting for FCX's typical communication style. The 'streamlining' buzzwords are concerning; it often precedes workforce adjustments or changes in operational focus that aren't immediately obvious. Keeping a close eye on their financial reports and any public statements for hints, but this silence is louder than usual.

Yeah, the lack of transparency is definitely unsettling. It feels like they're bracing for something, but what that is remains a mystery. The commodity market volatility adds another layer of uncertainty. I'm hoping it's just internal restructuring and not something more significant that could impact production or future investments. It would be good to get some clarity soon.
