FCX: Hiring freeze rumors or just slow season?

Just saw a few requisitions for roles I know were being actively recruited for a month or two ago are now 'on hold' or 'under review'. Also, the usual end-of-year push for new hires seems really subdued. Is anyone else seeing a slowdown in hiring at Freeport-McMoRan? It's not a full-on freeze that I can tell, but definitely feels like the gates are tighter than usual. Could just be the usual seasonal dip, or maybe the copper market is giving them pause. Wondering if anyone has heard anything concrete about hiring plans for the next quarter. Seems like a good time to be cautious, but also want to know if I should be looking over my shoulder.
