Freeport - Anyone Else Notice a Shift in Headcount?

Hey all, been keeping an eye on things at FCX. Haven't seen any official announcements or anything, but I've noticed a definite uptick in folks leaving, especially on the project management and engineering side. Feels like more 'voluntary' departures or early retirements than usual. Is anyone else seeing this at their site or in their department? Wondering if it's a sign of something bigger brewing or just seasonal fluctuations. Trying not to read too much into it, but the whispers are starting to get louder. Anyone have any insights or similar observations? Curious to hear what others are experiencing.

I've been with FCX for a while now, and I've definitely noticed some changes in the last year or so. It's not just project management and engineering; seems like across the board there's been a lot of people heading out the door. Some are retiring, sure, but others are younger and just moving on to different opportunities. It's hard to say if it's a major strategic shift or just the natural ebb and flow of a large company. The lack of official communication is a bit unnerving, though. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.
