Freeport McMoRan - Management Being Tight-Lipped?

This is getting frustrating. I'm at FCX and trying to get any sort of clarity on workforce stability is like pulling teeth. Every time I or colleagues ask about potential changes, it's always the same vague corporate speak. 'We're always evaluating our operational needs,' or 'We're committed to our employees.' Sounds nice, but doesn't exactly ease minds when you see certain projects being scaled back or hear about hiring freezes in other areas. It feels like management knows more than they're letting on, and they're deliberately staying quiet to avoid panic. It's the uncertainty that's the worst part. If there were layoffs, I'd rather know. If there aren't, tell us! This radio silence is creating a lot of anxiety. Is anyone else dealing with this level of corporate evasiveness right now? Feels like we deserve better communication than this.
