Anyone else feeling project pipeline drying up?

Hey everyone, curious to hear if others in Gartner Consulting are noticing a slowdown in new project wins or extensions lately. My team's been feeling it for a few weeks now, and the forward pipeline looks a bit thin for Q3/Q4. It's making me a little nervous, especially with all the market chatter about companies pulling back on discretionary spending. We're not hearing anything official about layoffs or hiring freezes, but this feels like a potential precursor. Anyone hearing anything on the ground, or is it just my region/practice area? Wondering if it's a broader trend or if we're missing something. Trying to stay optimistic but definitely on alert.

I'm seeing similar trends. It feels like clients are becoming much more cautious with their budgets, scrutinizing every engagement and prioritizing essential needs over transformational projects. We've had a few deals stall longer than usual, and renewals are definitely taking more effort. I'm hoping it's a temporary dip, but it's definitely noticeable across the board.

Yeah, definitely feeling the squeeze here too. The usual cadence of deal closures seems to have slowed, and it's taking more strategic effort to fill the pipeline. It's understandable given the economic climate, but it's a shift from what we've seen in the past couple of years. Keeping a close eye on this and focusing on demonstrating clear ROI for our offerings.
