It's definitely not just you. I've observed a similar trend. Clients seem more empowered with readily available information and are doing their own deep dives. They're less inclined to accept recommendations at face value and want to see how our guidance specifically aligns with *their* unique business context and risk appetite. It's a sign of a more sophisticated client base, perhaps, but also a challenge for us to demonstrate tangible, tailored value rather than relying solely on our established reputation.
I'm not surprised to hear this. The market is saturated with data and competitive analysis tools. Clients have more resources than ever to cross-reference information and form their own opinions. We need to adapt by focusing on delivering truly differentiated insights, practical implementation strategies, and quantifiable ROI. Simply stating 'Gartner recommends this' isn't enough anymore; we need to prove *why* it's the best path forward for that specific client's situation.
