Hey all, been at GE HealthCare for about 4 years now, in the diagnostic imaging division. Lately, there's been this weird vibe in the air. Meetings are being cancelled, my manager is being cagey about future projects, and there's a lot of hushed talk in the hallways and on Teams calls. It feels like something's brewing, but there's no official word. Nobody's saying anything concrete, but the silence is deafening. Are others in different departments or locations picking up on this? Is it just my team, or is this a broader thing? Just trying to get a pulse on what's going on before something official drops. Curious to hear if anyone has heard anything more solid, or if it's just the usual pre-holiday jitters amplified. Hope I'm just overthinking it.

I'm over in the pharma services side, and while we haven't had outright cancellations, there's definitely been a noticeable slowdown in approvals for new initiatives. Feels like a tighter budget leash, for sure. My manager is similar – vague answers about 'strategic realignments.' It's unsettling when you're used to a certain pace. Keep an eye on internal communications, maybe even reach out to HR for a general clarification on the company's current direction if it gets worse.

Diagnostic imaging here too, and I'm not feeling it as much. My team's roadmap is pretty solid, and we just got the green light on a new product launch. Maybe it's specific to your division or location? Could be project-specific delays or a reorganization that hasn't trickled down to everyone yet. Don't jump to conclusions based on hallway chatter; wait for official announcements. Things change, especially in large companies.
