Anyone else feeling the pressure on project timelines?

Hey everyone, been at GE HealthCare for a few years now in the medical devices division. Lately, it feels like project deadlines are getting tighter and tighter, and there's a lot more scrutiny on progress. It's not just me, right? Talking to a few colleagues, and we're all feeling a bit more stressed about hitting targets. Is this a sign of things to come, or just the usual Q4 crunch? I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the atmosphere feels different. Anyone in other departments seeing the same? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just specific to our area. Definitely feeling that pressure too. Seems like the emphasis on hitting those milestones has ramped up considerably across the board. It's making it tough to find that breathing room for unexpected issues that inevitably pop up in complex projects. Hopefully, it's just a temporary surge and not a permanent shift in how things operate.

I hear you. My team's experienced a similar squeeze. The increased scrutiny means more frequent check-ins and a real need to have everything perfectly mapped out, which can be challenging with the kind of innovation we're aiming for. It's definitely added a layer of stress, but we're working hard to adapt and stay on track.
