Lately, there's been a lot of talk about 'resource optimization' and 'streamlining operations' across various teams here at GEHC. It feels like more than just standard business jargon. My manager keeps bringing it up in team meetings, and while they're trying to spin it positively, there's an underlying current of uncertainty. We're being asked to track our time in more detail, and there's a renewed push to justify every expense. It's making people nervous, and I'm starting to wonder if this is the prelude to something bigger. Has anyone else noticed this trend or heard anything more concrete about what 'optimization' actually means in practice here?
