I've noticed it too, especially in the IT and digital transformation spaces. It feels like they're bringing in a lot of outside perspective, which can be good, but I wonder if it's also a way to push through changes more quickly or perhaps fill gaps that aren't being addressed internally. I'm curious to see if this trend continues and what the long-term impact will be on our internal capabilities and culture.
Yeah, definitely seeing more consultants around. My team has had a few working on a specific project, and they're very results-oriented. It's efficient for short-term goals, but I do worry about knowledge transfer and whether we're building our own internal expertise adequately. It's a balancing act, I suppose, but the sheer volume lately does make you wonder about the underlying reasons.
