Unusual uptick in internal transfers? Seeing a lot of people moving around.

Hey everyone, been with GEHC for a few years now, and I've noticed something a bit strange over the last quarter. Normally, you see some movement, but lately, it feels like there's a significant number of internal transfers happening across different divisions. People are popping up in roles that seem unrelated to their previous experience, and there's a lot of internal reshuffling. It's not necessarily bad, but it's definitely a departure from the norm. I've heard some chatter about 'strategic alignment' and 'cross-functional development,' but it feels a bit more disruptive than that. Anyone else in the medical devices side of GEHC seeing this? Is this a sign of something bigger, or just a new HR initiative I missed the memo on?

Interesting observation. I've noticed the same thing. It feels like a lot of restructuring is happening, maybe to align with new market demands or technology shifts? It's hard to say definitively without more information, but the pace of change is definitely higher than I've seen before. Hopefully, it leads to some positive outcomes and new opportunities for those involved.

Could this be related to the recent spin-off and focus on healthcare as a standalone entity? They might be trying to optimize talent and resources across the new company structure. It's a big organizational shift, so some internal movement makes sense as they build out their dedicated teams and leadership. Time will tell if it's effective.
