Gen Digital - Is anyone else feeling the hiring chill?

Hey all, been at Gen for a couple of years now in engineering. Lately, it feels like the hiring pipeline has completely dried up. We had a couple of roles open that were supposed to be backfilled pretty quickly, but they've been sitting vacant for months with no movement. HR is giving vague answers, just saying 'prioritizing needs.' Even for internal transfers, it seems way harder to get approved than it used to be. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's just my department/location. Are other teams seeing the same slowdown or are some areas still actively recruiting? Trying to gauge the overall health and direction here. Feels a bit like a quiet freeze, but without any official announcement.
