Gen Digital - Performance feedback feels less constructive lately

Anyone else getting performance feedback that feels… off? In past years, it's been more about development, areas to grow, and constructive criticism. Lately, it feels more like a checklist or just general commentary without much substance. It's hard to feel motivated or understand where I stand when the feedback isn't actionable. Is this just my experience, or are others seeing a shift in how performance is being discussed? Could be related to the integration, or maybe just a change in management philosophy, but it’s definitely impacting morale.

I've noticed something similar. The feedback does feel a bit more superficial these days. It's like they're going through the motions rather than truly investing in individual growth. I miss the more in-depth discussions we used to have about skill development and career paths. It makes it tough to feel like my contributions are truly recognized beyond just hitting basic metrics. Hoping this is a temporary phase.

Yeah, I can relate. It's become very 'check-the-box' lately. The feedback lacks the specific examples and actionable advice that would actually help me improve. It feels more like a formality than a genuine tool for development. I understand things change, but this shift makes it harder to stay engaged and understand where I stand strategically within the company. It's demotivating, to say the least.
