Gen Digital - Question about internal mobility?

Hey all, has anyone else noticed a slowdown in internal job postings or opportunities at Gen Digital lately? Usually, there are a few interesting roles popping up, but it feels like things have been pretty stagnant for a while now. I'm trying to explore some internal moves to grow my career, but it's proving harder than usual. Is this just me, or has anyone else experienced this? Wondering if it's related to the general 'cost optimization' talk we've been hearing, or maybe a shift in hiring strategy. Any insights or similar experiences would be helpful.

I've definitely felt a similar lull. It seems like roles are being consolidated or opportunities are being stretched thin. The 'cost optimization' talk is likely a major factor, making teams hesitant to backfill positions or approve new hires, even internally. It’s frustrating when you're actively looking to move up or sideways within the company. Hopefully, things will pick up again soon.

Interesting you bring this up. I've been keeping an eye out too and noticed the same thing. Fewer postings, and the ones that do appear seem to get a huge volume of applicants very quickly. It makes sense that with the current economic climate and company focus on efficiency, internal movements might be slower. It’s good to know I’m not the only one seeing this, though.
