I've been trying to get a couple of key roles approved for my team for months now, and it's been nothing but delays and 'budget review' excuses. Meanwhile, I'm seeing job postings for other departments that seem to be lingering for a long time without getting filled. It's not a formal announcement, but it sure feels like hiring has effectively stopped. Anyone else experiencing this? Are you struggling to backfill roles or getting pushback on new hires? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a particularly difficult department. The silence on hiring is pretty deafening.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing something similar.
