Gen Digital - Resources Tightening? Seeing Fewer Tools/Software Approvals

Been at Gen Digital for a few years now and I'm starting to feel a significant pinch on resources, specifically around new tools or software approvals. Usually, if a team identified a need for a new piece of software or a subscription that promised efficiency gains, the process was fairly straightforward. Lately, it seems like every request is going through extreme scrutiny, often getting delayed or outright denied with vague explanations about 'budget alignment' or 'redundancy reviews.' It's making it harder to do my job effectively when I can't access the best tools. Anyone else experiencing this slowdown in acquiring necessary resources?
