Generac - Anyone else feeling the squeeze on resources?

It feels like we're being asked to do more with less. My team is already stretched thin, and now it seems like getting approval for new hires, even for backfills, is nearly impossible. There's also a lot more emphasis on optimizing existing processes and reducing operational costs. I understand the need for efficiency, but it's starting to feel like they're prepping for something bigger. The lack of clear communication is making everyone anxious. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or if it's isolated to certain areas. Curious to hear what others are seeing on the ground.

I've noticed similar trends. The focus on cost-saving and optimizing workflows is definitely palpable across departments. It's creating a bit of a pressure cooker environment, and the communication vacuum just amplifies the unease. Hopefully, this is just a cycle and not indicative of deeper issues. It's tough when you feel understaffed and are still expected to hit ambitious targets.

Totally feel you on this. The resource constraints are real. Seems like every project proposal is met with an immediate 'how can we do this cheaper?' and 'do we really need that headcount?' It's making strategic planning a challenge when you can't get the necessary support. Hoping for more transparency soon.
