Generac - Budget cuts impacting day-to-day?

Wondering if others are experiencing more scrutiny on expenses or budget limitations recently at Generac? It feels like approvals for even small things are taking longer, and there's a general sense of caution around spending. We had a meeting last week where 'fiscal responsibility' was emphasized heavily, which isn't unusual, but the tone felt more pointed this time. Travel requests are being questioned more, and some planned internal events have been scaled back or postponed. Not sure if this is a reaction to market conditions or something more specific to the company's performance. Has anyone heard any internal chatter about this or experienced similar things?

I've definitely noticed a shift too. It's not just about 'fiscal responsibility' anymore, it feels like a full-on tightening of the belt. Even simple supply requests are taking forever to get signed off on. I'm wondering if it's a company-wide thing or specific to certain departments. The emphasis on caution is palpable, and honestly, it's making things a bit frustrating when you're trying to get work done efficiently. Hopefully, it's a temporary measure.

Same here. The 'fiscal responsibility' message is loud and clear, but the practical impact is slowing everything down. It feels like we're walking on eggshells when it comes to any kind of discretionary spending. I've had a couple of minor training requests get pushed back because they 'aren't a priority right now.' It's definitely creating a more cautious atmosphere across the board. Curious to see if leadership clarifies the situation soon.
