Generac - Budget cuts or just a weird slowdown?

Curious if others on the Generac industrial side are experiencing a similar vibe. There's definitely a noticeable slowdown in approvals for new initiatives and even some of the smaller capital expenditures. My manager is being super cagey about budget discussions for next year, just saying 'we're evaluating all options'. It's not just my team, I'm hearing similar whispers from other departments. Feels like they're either tightening the purse strings significantly or something else is going on. The lack of transparency is what's making me nervous. Anyone getting a clearer picture or hearing anything more concrete about upcoming budget reviews and resource allocation?

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. It's definitely a strange atmosphere right now. Approvals are taking forever, and the usual 'quick' sign-offs on smaller things are becoming a major headache. My team's project pipeline is starting to look a little dry, and frankly, the lack of clear communication about next year's budget is concerning. Everyone's just kind of waiting and watching, which isn't exactly motivating. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment period and not indicative of a deeper issue.

I'm on the residential side, but the chatter about budget scrutiny has reached us too. We haven't seen direct impacts on our projects yet, but the emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'prioritization' has definitely ramped up. It's making us rethink every expense.
