Has anyone else noticed a complete stop on new hires? My team has had open reqs for months that are now just...ghosted. No updates, no feedback, and it seems like my manager is deliberately avoiding the topic. It's not just my department; I've heard similar stories from folks in engineering and even some of the field service roles. It feels like more than just a 'slowdown.' The budget talk has been pretty intense for a while, and this feels like the next logical step. Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if some divisions are being hit harder than others. Anyone have any concrete intel or hearing anything through the grapevine?

Yeah, I've been seeing the same thing. We've had a couple of positions open on my team for what feels like forever, and suddenly it's like they just vanished. No one is getting interviews, and any questions about it are met with vague answers or outright silence. It's definitely more than just a seasonal dip. Heard some whispers about budget cuts a while back, so this feels pretty predictable. Hopefully, it's just a temporary thing, but it's hard not to worry.
